NHKC National Men’s Open Squad is now open for registration! All players who have played in NHKC men’s league 2025/26 season or Joint University Tournament in 2025/26 academic year are eligible to apply. Below are the training and tournament dates and venues:
Pre-trial Training

Trial
Wed, 22 Jul, 7-9pm at Hong Kong Park SC
Squad Training – 15 players:
Wed, 29 Jul, 7-9pm at Hong Kong Park SC
Fri, 21, 28 Aug, 8-10pm at Hong Kong Park SC
Fri, 4, 11, 25 Sep, 8-10pm at Hong Kong Park SC
Fri, 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Oct, 8-10pm at Hong Kong Park SC
Fri, 6, 13, 20, 27 Nov, 8-10pm at Hong Kong Park SC
Important Notes:
– Players have to attend the trial, as well as a >90% availability to training sessions leading up to any tournament, in order to be considered at the selection (unless prior notice given of exceptional circumstances).
– Members of the National Selection Panel may attend the trial, as well as 2 of the training sessions in Sep and Oct, for selection purposes.
– A squad of 15 players will be selected after trial on 22 Jul, announcement will be made following week once approved by Excom.
– All 15 players are expected to attend all training sessions – written notice of absence must be given to head coach, assistant coach and VP, elite 2 weeks in advance.
– All dates are subject to change, coach will inform players of any changes.
